Day 1: Shimla to Sangla – Gateway to Kinnaur’s Winter Charm
Distance: 240 km | Duration: 7–8 hours
Your winter adventure begins in Shimla as we depart for the scenic Sangla Valley. The drive takes us through Rampur-Bushahr before entering the beautiful Kinnaur region. As altitude increases, landscapes slowly transition from autumn tones to pristine white snow. Sangla, set beside the Baspa River, welcomes you with its serene beauty and alpine charm.

Day 2: Sangla – Chitkul – Kalpa – Views of Kinner Kailash
Distance: 90 km | Duration: 4–5 hours
After breakfast, we head towards Chitkul, the last inhabited village near the Indo-China border. Walk along the Baspa River and visit the Mathi Goddess Temple. Later, drive to Kalpa, believed to be the winter abode of Lord Shiva. Enjoy stunning views of the Kinner Kailash and Jorkandan peaks.

Day 3: Kalpa – Nako – Gue – Tabo – Entering Spiti Valley
Distance: 149 km | Duration: 9–10 hours
Drive along the iconic Hindustan–Tibet Highway towards Nako, the final village of Kinnaur district. After lunch, enter the Spiti Valley. If conditions permit, visit Gue Monastery, home to the naturally preserved mummy of a Tibetan monk. Reach Tabo by evening.

Day 4: Tabo – Pin Valley – Mudh – Kaza
Distance: 115 km | Duration: 4–5 hours
Visit the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Tabo Monastery, over 1,000 years old. Later, enter Pin Valley National Park and visit Kungri Monastery. Proceed to Mudh, the last motorable village of Pin Valley (subject to road conditions), before reaching Kaza.

Day 5: Kaza – Langza – Hikkim – Komic – Ki – Kibber – Chicham – Kaza
Distance: 85 km | Duration: 5–6 hours
Explore some of the world’s highest villages. Visit Ki Monastery, Kibber village, and cross the iconic Chicham Bridge. Continue to Komic, Hikkim (world’s highest post office), and Langza village, known for fossils and ancient temples.

Day 6: Kaza – Dhankar – Rampur
Distance: 294 km | Duration: 10–11 hours
Begin the return journey towards Kinnaur. If road conditions allow, visit Dhankar Monastery, dramatically perched on a cliff. Continue driving to Rampur for an overnight halt.

Day 7: Rampur – Shimla
Distance: 120 km | Duration: 5–6 hours
Drive back to Shimla, reaching by approximately 3:00 PM near Tourism Lift Parking. Onward travel is recommended after 7:00 PM or the next day.
