TIRTHAN VALLEY & MANALI TOUR
Tirthan Valley, located in the Kullu district of Himachal Pradesh at an altitude of 1600 meters above sea level, derives its name from the pristine Tirthan River flowing through it. Situated approximately 3 km from the entrance of the Great Himalayan National Park, this valley is a paradise for nature lovers and adventure seekers.
Surrounded by the magnificent snow-covered Himalayas and blessed with crystal-clear river streams, Tirthan Valley is known for trout fishing, scenic trekking trails, peaceful village walks, and charming guest houses nestled in nature.
Day 1: Chandigarh – Tirthan Valley (280 km / 7 hrs)
Arrival at Chandigarh Airport and drive to Tirthan Valley. Upon arrival, check in at Gone Fishing Cottages, beautifully located on the banks of River Tirthan. Relax and unwind while listening to the soothing sound of the flowing river.
Overnight stay at Tirthan Valley.
Day 2: Explore Tirthan Valley
After breakfast, explore the banks of River Tirthan. Enjoy trout game fishing (optional at extra cost) and a peaceful riverside walk to experience the cool breeze and calming river sounds.
Later, drive to Sarchi Village (approx. 15 km from the resort). The scenic mountain drive offers panoramic views. Explore the village, interact with locals, and experience authentic Himalayan life.
Return to the hotel in the evening.

Day 3: Jalori Pass & Serolsar Lake Trek
After breakfast, proceed for an excursion to Jalori Pass (60–90 minutes drive), located at 3100 meters. The pass offers stunning views of the Himalayan ranges and peaks of Kullu Valley.
From Jalori Pass, begin a 5 km trek through meadows and forest trails to reach the sacred Serolsar Lake, revered by locals. After spending time at the lake, trek back to Jalori Pass and drive back to the hotel.

Day 4: Great Himalayan National Park Gate Trek
After breakfast, proceed for a day hike to the entrance gate of the Great Himalayan National Park. The trail begins from Gushaini and follows the Tirthan River, passing through small villages and beautiful forests.
This moderate and scenic trek takes approximately 3 hours to reach the gate and 2 hours to return. The altitude difference between Gushaini and the park gate is around 430 meters, making it suitable for individuals with average fitness levels.

Day 5: Tirthan – Sonaugi Homestead (100 km / 3 hrs)
After breakfast, check out and drive towards Sonaugi Homestead.
En route, you may opt for rafting in the River Beas and paragliding in Kullu Valley (activities on direct payment basis). Later visit Naggar Castle, ancient temples in Naggar village, and the Nicholas Roerich Art Gallery.
Arrive at Sonaugi Homestead by late afternoon and check in. Spend the evening relaxing with panoramic mountain and valley views or enjoy a short nature walk.
Overnight stay at Sonaugi Homestead.
Day 6: Explore Around Sonaugi
After breakfast, enjoy a relaxed morning. The Beas River flows below the property, approximately a 20-minute walk downhill.
The homestead is surrounded by dense Himalayan cedar (Deodar) forests on three sides and apple orchards on the other. Enjoy a walk to Janna Village. The walk takes about an hour via a kaccha trail. Janna is one of the oldest villages in the valley, offering insight into traditional Himalayan life.
Overnight stay at Sonaugi Homestead.
Day 7: Sonaugi – Chandigarh (300 km / 9 hrs)
After breakfast, check out and drive back to Chandigarh Airport for your onward journey.
End of services with beautiful Himalayan memories.
Reservation & Confirmation Policy:
- At least 50% advance of the total amount for the confirmation and balance 50% 15 days before check-in.
- Bookings made less than 15 days before the check-in date should be accompanied by full payment only.
- Full Payment mandatory before check-in. (no payments are entertained at the property unless any extra service or deposit )
- Scanned Copy of Govt. Approved ID Card of Booking person mandatory while booking. (Pan Cards are not accepted).
Cancellation Policy:
- Booking canceled is not refundable.
- Booking canceled between the date of booking & 15 Days before check-in – A credit note(email) worth 90% of the amount paid will be issued which can be used within two months from the cancellation date for future rebooking of the same property except on Public Holidays & Peak Season (Month of December
- Bookings canceled between 15 days till the day of check-in or No Show: Cancellation Charge is 100% of the Package Cost.
