Itinerary – Jungle Lore Farmstead (Pali)

​24th Jan Day 1​ Sat  – Departure from Mumbai & Arrival at Jungle Lore Farmstead

Begin your journey from Mumbai and drive toward the serene surroundings of Jungle Lore Farmstead, located near Pali. Upon arrival, check in and settle into the peaceful ambience of the farm.

Spend your evening exploring the beautiful farmstead—take a leisurely nature walk, unwind amidst greenery, or enjoy a refreshing swim in the natural lake.
As night falls, indulge in a wholesome farm-to-table dinner, prepared with fresh local produce.

​25th Jan Day 2 –​ Sunday | Trek to Thanale Caves

Start early in the morning for a scenic trek to the Thanale Caves, carrying a packed breakfast from the Farm such as Sandwiches & Fruits  starting from village Nadsur.
The trek is approximately 2 hours one way and takes you through forest trails, gentle climbs, and panoramic views of the Western Ghats.
About Thanale Caves
The Thanale (Thanali) Caves are a cluster of ancient Buddhist rock-cut caves dating back to the 1st century BCE.
Believed to be one of the earliest examples of Buddhist architecture in Maharashtra, these caves include:

11+ rock-cut structures carved into a hillside
Viharas (monks’ dwellings) with stone benches
A beautifully shaped Chaitya (prayer hall) with a distinct arched façade
Early inscriptions and traces of ancient craftsmanship
Surrounded by lush forests and mountain views, Thanale offers both historical significance and natural beauty—making the trek rewarding for explorers and history lovers alike.
After exploring the caves, trek back and return to the farm by lunchtime.

Spend the afternoon relaxing at the homestay. As the sun sets, enjoy an authentic Popati cooking experience, followed by a delicious dinner.
Wrap up the day by reliving your trek memories beside a warm bonfire.

• • At least 50% advance of the total amount for the confirmation and balance 50% 15 days before check-in.
  • Bookings made less than 15 days before the check-in date should be accompanied by full payment only.
  • Full Payment mandatory before check-in. (no payments are entertained at the property unless any extra service or deposit )
  • Scanned Copy of Govt. Approved ID Card of Booking person mandatory while booking. (Pan Cards are not accepted).

Cancellation Policy :

• • Booking canceled is not refundable.
  • Booking canceled between the date of booking & 15 Days before check-in – A credit note(email) worth 90% of the amount paid will be issued which can be used within two months from the cancellation date for future rebooking of the same property except on Public Holidays & Peak Season (Month of December).
  • Bookings canceled between 15 days till the day of check-in or No Show: Cancellation Charge is 100% of the Package Cost.

Special Policy under COVID-19 (Only In case there is Lockdown or Travel Ban issued by State or Central Gov)

A credit note worth 100% of the booking amount will be issued, which can be used within two months for future booking on weekends only from the date lockdown or travel Ban is lifted by State or Central Govt.

• Rebooking is not applicable in December,
• No Refunds.
• Total Booking amount to remain the same.
• Extra Person & Extra Meals will be at actuals to be paid during rebooking.
