About Asangaon Dehene Countryside Cycle Ride :

Our cycling journey commences from Asangaon station, leading us to the charming village of Dehne nestled at the foot of the magnificent Ajoba mountains. This idyllic village captivates with its abundant streams flowing from various directions. Those who have experienced the awe-inspiring Sandhan Valley full descend trek or Ajoba trek are well acquainted with the sheer beauty of this village. Our cycling route encompasses a distance of 45 kilometers, featuring winding roads and numerous undulations. The entire path is adorned with lush greenery on both sides, offering a refreshing atmosphere throughout. As we reach our destination, we will savor a delectable lunch prepared by the local villagers. Concluding the cycling leg of our adventure, we will have the opportunity to explore the village and discover the enchanting streams and mini waterfalls in the vicinity.

Leaving Asangaon, you embark on a route that takes you through winding roads and rolling hills. The weather in the monsoon season is typically cool and misty, with intermittent rain showers. The vegetation along the way is abundant and vibrant, with various shades of green dominating the landscape, all enhanced by the rainfall.

As you pedal forward, you’ll pass through small villages and witness the daily lives of the local people. The monsoon season brings life to the countryside, and you may see farmers tending to their fields, children playing in puddles, and villagers going about their daily chores. The rural charm and simplicity of these villages add a unique flavor to your cycling experience.

ITINERARY

Board the early morning train to Asangaon and arrive at your destination by 8:40 am. Meet at Asangaon Railway Ticket Counter – East.

Collect the designated bicycles, where you will receive instructions and participate in an introduction round.

Commence your ride along the inner roads, Delight in the breathtaking scenery as you ride along the paddy fields & open roads.

With intermittent breaks along the route, you will eventually reach the tranquil Dehne village.

Indulge in a humble and homely lunch at the residence of a local villager. Take some time to relax after a satisfying meal.

Explore the village on foot and immerse yourself in the nearby water streams.

Before departing for Asangaon, treat yourselves to evening refreshments.
