Itinerary for Spiti Valley Tour :

🏔️ Spiti Valley Road Trip – 8 Days

Day 1: Chandigarh → Narkanda (180 km / 6–7 hrs)

Begin your Himalayan journey with a scenic drive from Chandigarh to Narkanda (8,900 ft), passing from Punjab plains into pine forests and winding mountain roads. Check into a resort surrounded by apple orchards and cedar woods.
Overnight stay & dinner in Narkanda.

Day 2: Narkanda → Kalpa (150 km / 5–6 hrs)

Drive through Rampur and Reckong Peo along the Satluj River to Kalpa, known for majestic views of the Kinner Kailash range. Visit Rogi village and the dramatic “Suicide Point” for unforgettable vistas.
Overnight stay & dinner in Kalpa.

Day 3: Kalpa → Tabo (190 km / 6–7 hrs)

Travel the Hindustan-Tibet Highway, transitioning into stark Himalayan desert. Pause at Nako Lake and optionally visit the 500-year-old Giu Mummy. Reach Tabo to explore its over 1,000-year-old monastery with ancient murals.

Day 4: Tabo → Kaza via Pin Valley (70 km / 6 hrs)

Enter the hidden Pin Valley National Park. Stop at Kungri Monastery and visit Mudh, the last village in the valley. Continue to Kaza, the cultural heart of Spiti.

Day 5: Kaza – Key – Kibber – Hikkim – Komik – Langza – Chicham (~90 km loop)

Explore iconic high-altitude villages:

Key Monastery – panoramic valley views

Kibber – stone houses & wildlife spotting

Hikkim – world’s highest post office

Komik – Asia’s highest motorable village

Langza – giant Buddha & fossil-rich slopes
End the day in peaceful Chicham Village, crossing one of Asia’s highest suspension bridges.
Overnight stay & dinner at a homestay in Langza.

Day 6: Langza → Chandratal via Kunzum La (85 km / 5–6 hrs)

Drive across Kunzum Pass (15,000+ ft), then hike to the surreal Chandratal Lake, known for its moon-like shape and reflection of surrounding peaks. Enjoy a lakeside picnic and night under the stars.
Overnight stay & dinner at Chandratal camps.

Day 7: Chandratal → Manali via Atal Tunnel (126 km / 6–7 hrs)

Travel through rugged Spiti terrain, stopping at Batal & Chhatru. Continue past waterfalls and glacier streams to Gramphu, then cross the Atal Tunnel to reach Manali by evening.
Overnight stay & dinner in Manali.

Day 8: Manali → Chandigarh (290 km / 8 hrs)

After breakfast, return to Chandigarh. Drop-off at the airport or railway station, marking the end of your unforgettable Spiti adventure.

Here, we bid goodbye to you with our driver and guide who have been your friends for the past eight days.

Cost Inclusions :

• Accommodation on double (for couples) / triple sharing basis at all destinations as per the itinerary.
• Breakfast and dinner at all hotels, homestays and camps except in Manali.
• Comfortable non-AC Force Traveller shared by ten people, for all days as per the itinerary (Day 1 to Day 8)
• Reliable, experienced and adept English-speaking local driver with great knowledge of the area and the terrain.
• Local coordinator for the tour from Day 1 to Day 8.
• Driver and coordinator charges, driver accommodation, fuel and inter-state toll.
• Camping fees, comfortable tents and sleeping bags at Chandratal Lake if included in the itinerary.

Cost Exclusions :

• Lunch / Any Personal Expenses / Tips / Beverages / Meals that are not mentioned in the itinerary.
• 5% Tax (GST)
• Additional Guide / Porters / Private vehicle
• Any activities, permits, services, accommodation or transfers other than what is mentioned in the itinerary.
• Any cost arising out of unforeseen circumstances including medical emergencies and acts of God.
• Anything that is not mentioned in the above list of inclusions.

Reservation & Confirmation Policy :

• At least 50% advance of the total amount for the confirmation and balance 50% 15 days before check-in.
• Bookings made less than 15 days before the check-in date should be accompanied by full payment only.
• Full Payment mandatory before check-in. (no payments are entertained at the property unless any extra service or deposit )
• Scanned Copy of Govt. Approved ID Card of Booking person mandatory while booking. (Pan Cards are not accepted).

Cancellation Policy :

• Booking canceled is not refundable.
• Booking canceled between the date of booking & 15 Days before check-in – A credit note(email) worth 90% of the amount paid will be issued which can be used within two months from the cancellation date for future rebooking of the same property except on Public Holidays & Peak Season (Month of December).
• Bookings canceled between 15 days till the day of check-in or No Show: Cancellation Charge is 100% of the Package Cost
